Bus timetables Copies of local bus timetables are available at reception. If you require any further travel information please do not hesitate to ask.
Bus Stop For travel into Aberdeen. The nearest bus stop is across the main road from the Clydesdale Bank. For travel to Ballater and Braemar the nearest bus stop is next to the public car park.
Train Stations The nearest train stations are located in Aberdeen and Stonehaven – approximately 25 miles away.
Taxis If you need a taxi we will be happy to book one for you, or alternatively give you list of telephone numbers. We suggest booking your taxi early.
Walks. There are several walking trails in the area. If you require maps, information or a packed lunch to take with you then please enquire at reception.
Swimming pool There is an Olympic swimming pool at the local community centre, only a 10 minute walk away.
Golf – The area boasts several golf courses. Reception will be happy to book on your behalf.
Fishing – If you would like to arrange fishing in the area we can provide you with contact detailsfor the Deeside Fishing Trust.
Supermarkets – The local Co-op is open until 10:00 pm Monday – Saturday and 06:00 pm on Sunday.
Post Office – The local Post Office is only a few minutes away: turn left outside the front door of the hotel.
Churches – Details of local church services and locations can be found from reception.
Reception – In the event of any concern or query please do not hesitate to contact the Duty Manager via reception (0).
Car Parking – The hotel has a small car-park at the front of the hotel however there are no restrictions to parking in the public car park adjacent to the hotel.
Check In – Check in is available from 02:00 pm. If you arrive early we will be happy to store your luggage for you.
Check out – We request guests check-out of their rooms by 11:00 am on their day of departure. If you require a late check-out, extra charge may be incurred.
Pets – We allow pets in the hotel for a charge of £5 per night.
Keys – For security reasons we only issue one key per room. Please leave your key at reception when you leave the building.
Credit Cards – We accept all major Credit and Debit cards. All transactions must be completed with a pin.
Cash Machine – There is a 24 hour Cash Machine at the Clydesdale Bank across the road from the Tavern Bar, and also at the Co-op store behind the hotel. If you require directions please see reception.
Room charges – If you wish to put something on your room bill please present your keycard and charges will be posted to your bill.
Dry Cleaning – If you require any garments to be dry cleaned please hand them to reception before 09:00 am. They will usually be delivered back to your room by 06.30pm, although on occasions it may take 24 hours.
Cots – Cots are subject to availability. If you require one please contact reception.
Iron and Ironing Boards – If you do not have an Iron in your room, they are available from reception. Please dial O and it will be delivered to your room.
Hairdryers – Hairdryers are found in your room.
Bath Mats – Non-slip bath mats are available from Reception if required.
Faxes – Faxes may be sent and received via reception.
Early Morning Call – If you require an early morning call please contact reception.
Messages – Messages can be left at reception and will be given to you on receipt of your key.
Wi-Fi – Wireless internet access is available in the public areas of the hotel, please ask reception for the free network key.
Lost Property – We will make every effort to locate lost items and return them. The hotel cannot take responsibility for guest items left at the hotel.
Environmental Policy – Please assist us in our Green Policy by ensuring that all electrical not being used are switched off at the mains, and that the water is not left needlessly running.
Disabled Travelers – Please highlight to a member of the team if you have any disabilities we should be aware of in order to make your stay more comfortable.
